3 jungle pirates of Sundarbans arrested

Some 3 jungle pirates of Sundarbans were arrested by the police from the Joymoni village, adjacent to the river Shela within Chila Union under Mongla Upazila in Bagrhat district after conducing in the different places of the forest in the early morning of Monday in connection with the kidnapping of as many as 11 fishermen from the various places of Sundarbans under Chandpai Forest Range in the Eastern Division of Sndarbans (in Bagerhat district) during the period from 13th to 18th December. At the time of the arrest of the jungle pirates police recovered a single barrel gun, 3 rounds of cartridges, 2 Ramdas (big curved knives), 2 iron rods, a small boat locally known as Dingi, several pieces of nylon ropes (used to tide hands an legs of the kidnapped fishermen), one scotch tape, 2 torch lights and some different sized of lethal weapons from their possession.

Lucky Begum ,Word Councilor of 7, 8, 9 in Bishwnath Municipality has called on the rich people of the city to stand by the poor and helpless people who are suffering from winter. Some 200 blankets were distributed among the poor and needy in Notun Bazar in Bishwnath Municipality on Sunday. He said, man is for man, the satisfaction of the great Lord lies in human service. Those who have a sense of humanity come forward in human service. People shiver for lack of clothes in winter.
