Domingo quits from post

Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team Russell Domingo has quitted his post. Domingo submitted his resignation through an e-mail to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday night. Chairman of the Cricket Operations Committee of the BCB Jalal Yunus confirmed this matter to a local website.
Jalal Yunus said, ” Domingo has given his resignation. He confirmed his resignation from the post of Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team through in his e-mail.”
The former South African Coach was appointed as the Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket Board in August of 2019. He was roped in Bangladesh’s Head Coach for two years. Later, his contract was extended till the ICC World Cup 2023. But the Proteas Coach has left his post before ten months of his tenure.
It may be mentioned that there was a rumour that the BCB would sack him from his post. Domingo also knew about the plan of BCB. But before the official announcement of the BCB, Domigo has resigned from his post.
The BCB is already searching for a new Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team. But the BCB has not yet finalized who will be coached Bangladesh Cricket team.
After the Bangladesh Premier League Cricket, Bangladesh Cricket team will return to International cricket in March, 2023. Bangladesh will host England for a three-match One Day International (ODI) series and three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series in March of next year.
BCB expects that it can assign a new Head Coach before the upcoming England series.
