Recommendation to build rental flat for slum dwellers’

Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Housing and Public Works recommended in a meeting on Tuesday a new project for building rental flats for slum dwellers.
The meeting was chaired by committee president Engineer Mosharraf Hossain at Jatiya Sangsad Bhavan attending with Narayan Chandra Chanda, Bazlul Haque Harun, Md Zillul Hakim, Md Monwar Hossain Chawdhury and Farida Khanam.
In the meeting, discussion was held on the ongoing project of Public Works Department (PWD), Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), Chattogram Development Authority, Cox’s Bazar Development Authority, Rajshahi Development Authority (RDA), Khulna Development Authority, Urban Development Directorate (UDD), Department of Architecture, and Housing and Building Research Institute.
