Body of woman recovered from hotel in Kuakata

The police recovered the body of a female tourist named Ajanta Begum (25) from a residential hotel room in Kuakata tourist town of Patuakhali.
The body was recovered from room number 204 of Hotel Jhilik on Saturday (December 17) afternoon.
According to the information recorded in the hotel register, the name of the deceased tourist’s husband is Sujan. Meanwhile, no trace of the victim’s husband has been found since the incident.
Mohipur police station officer-in-charge (OC) investigation Hafizur Rahman said that the body was recovered and brought to the police station. Further action as per law is under process.
According to police and hotel authority sources, Ajanta and Sujan came to Kuakata on Friday morning. Later they rented a room in the hotel in Jhilik
