Cocktail exploded in front of BNP’s Nayapaltan office

Miscreants blasted a cocktail in front of BNP’s Nayapaltan central office and none was injured in this incident.
The explosion took place around 6:00pm beside the road-divider in front of the party office on Saturday.
Someone, who couldn’t be identified during the blast, hurled the cocktail there, sources said.
Inspector (Investigation) of Paltan Police Station Sentu Mia told reporters that they heard that there was a cocktail explosion in front of the BNP office in Paltan in the evening.
He, however, said that it was not known who made the cocktail explosion. Police are investigating into the matter, he added.
BNP had a plan to hold a grand rally in Nayapaltan on December 10.
But Dhaka Metropolitan Police allowed BNP for holding the rally in Suhrawardy Uddyan instead of Nayapaltan.
