Bhola tops, Patuakhali district lowest in Barishal Education Board

Bhola district is at the top in terms of percentage of pass, while Patuakhali became lowest of district-wise SSC result of 2022 under Barishal Education Board (BBE),.
BEB Controller of Examination Arun Kumar Gain announced the result statistics with 89.61 percent pass rate with 10,068 GPA-5 of 85,014 passed examinees out of 94,871 appeared examinees from 1464 school at 187 centers on Monday.
Meanwhile, there is no school under Barishal Education Board with zero-percent pass rate . He said that Bhola district 92.51 percent of 15,942 examinees appeared from 212 schools passed this this year in SSC examination. After that, the pass rate of Pirojpur district is 91.83 out of 11,714 appeared examinees of 249 schools scored on second position in district with result under BEB.
The pass rate of Barguna district is in the third position in SSC result of 2022 under BEB with 90.73 percent pass rate out of appeared 9,843 examinees from 152 institutions.
The pass rate of Barishal district is in the fourth position with 90.54 percent pass rate out of 29,166 examinees appeared from 418 schools.
The pass rate of Jhalokathi district is in fifth position with 86.93 percent pass rate out of 8,219 examinees appeared from 172 schools.
The pass rate of Patuakhali district is in sixth position is 84.23 percent pass rate out of 16,938 examinees appeared from 261 education institution in SSC exam under BEB in 2022.
The pass rate in Chittagong district including the metropolis is 89.11 percent.
The pass rate in Cox’s Bazar district is 88.45 percent, the pass rate in Rangamati district is 81.60 percent, the pass rate is 75.67 percent in Khagrachari district and the pass rate is 78.36 percent in Bandarban district. In all indicators this year the examinees have performed worse than last year.
Female students are also ahead in increasing GPA 5. Compared to last year, their GPA has increased by 3,480 points. In the backward hilly areas under the Chittagong Education Board, the pass rate has also decreased compared to last year.

Science group, girls did better
Science group and girls done better in SSC exam 2022 under Barishal Education Board. This year the pass rate of science department examinees is highest followed by business education and humanities department in pass rate.
Students of science department got the most 8221 including 3525 boys and 4696 girls in terms of GPA-5. Besides, 1328 examinees from humanities department and 519 students from business education department got GPA-5.
BEB sources said 23,712 examinees out of 24,529 appeared examinees of science group passed SSC 2022. Among the passed examinees 11,907(96.12% with 3525 GPA-5) were boys and 11,805(97.22% with 4696 GPA-5) were girls. In business studies group total 13, 052 out of 13, 826 appeared examinees passed and out of them 8,096(93.35% with 174 GPA-5) were male and 4,956(96.18% with 345 GPA-5) were girls.
Total 48,250 out of 56, 516 appeared examinees of humanities group passed and out of passed examinees 20,432( 82.02% with 182 GPA-5) were boys and 27,818(88.02% with 1146 GPA-5) were girls.

This time a total of 18 thousand 664 people got GPA 5 which is 5 thousand 873 more than last year. Among them 7 thousand 775 students which is 2 thousand 393 more than last year and 10 thousand 889 women which is 3 thousand 480 more than last year.
This year the pass rate in science is 96.81 percent, the pass rate in humanities is 78.82 percent and the pass rate in business education is 91.30 percent. 14 thousand 525 people got GPA 5 in science, 476 people got GPA 5 in humanities and 3 thousand 663 people got GPA 5 in business education.The pass rate in Chittagong Metropolis is 94.21 percent which is 1.07 percent less than last year, 87.64 percent in Chittagong district outside the metropolis.
