Fardin was not killed in Chanpara:DB

Harun Or Rashid, Head of DMP Intelligence Branch, believes that Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Fardin was not killed in Chanpara. He confirmed the information on Thursday (November 17).
Harun Or Rashid said, Fardin was seen walking to Jatrabari at 2am in the night, from there some people took him to Laguna towards Tarabo of the Bishow road.
He said, the laguna driver is under surveillance, our efforts are on to arrest him. Fardin was first seen talking to a man dressed in a white T-Shirt. Later some other people were seen picking him up.
He also said, “What RAB or anyone else has said is not for me to see. I will say what I assumed.” It is impossible for him who walks to Jatrabari at half past two, and to be at Chonpara by 2.30am.
However, “We are yet to get any concrete clue on how and where Fardin was killed,” the DB chief added.
Earlier on Wednesday (November 16), RAB said that BUET student Fardin Noor Parash was killed at 2.30 am in Chanpara, Rupganj, Narayanganj.
Earlier on November 16, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ataullah sent Amatullah Bushra, friend of Fardin Noor Parash, to jail in connection with a case filed over Fardin’s death on completion of five-day remand.
On November 10, the court placed Bushra on five-day remand. Earlier on November 7, police recovered Fardin’s body from the Shitalakshya River, behind a cotton mill at Siddhirganj three days after he went missing.
On November 8, Sheikh Farhad, a physician at Narayanganj General Hospital where the autopsy was done, said there were several injury marks in Fardin’s head and body.
On November 9, Fardin’s father Kazi Nuruddin Rana filed a case against his son’s friend Amatullah Bushra, a 3rd-year student of East West University, and several unidentified people in connection with the death at Rampura police station.
