Coca-Cola (BD) gets new MD

Coca-Cola Bangladesh Beverages Limited., formerly known as International Beverages Private Limited (IBPL) — a 100% foreign direct investment of The Coca-Cola Company in Bangladesh — has appointed Mayank Arora as the new Managing Director (MD), effective from October 2022.
He succeeds Tapas Kumar Mondal, who had successfully served the organization from November 2010 to July 2022, according to a press release.
Prior to taking up this new role, Mayank was based in Colombo, Sri Lanka where he had served as the Managing Director of Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd (CCBSL) from 2016 to 2022.
Mayank has been instrumental in orchestrating the turnaround strategy, positioning Sri Lanka as one of the best performing BIG (Bottling Investments Group) markets.
Under his leadership, Sri Lanka has received various accolades and recognitions within and beyond the Coca-Cola system.
