Shoshee in seven-episode serial ‘Bhaggo Bibi’

Making of a seven-episode serial titled ‘Bhaggo Bibi’ has completed recently. But when the serial will go on air on Boishakhi TV director of the serial, Mamun Abdullah did not confirm the matter. Talented actress Sharmin Zoha Shoshee played the title role in the serial. Noted actor Amirul Haque Chowdhury acted opposite Shoshee in the serial.
Director Mamun Abdullah informed that now editing of the serial is going on. Al Amin Swapan wrote story of the serial. In his serial, why he selected Shoshee for playing the title role, Mamun Abdullah told this correspondent, “Film ‘Monpura’ famed actress Farhana Mili is my friend. I wanted to take either Farhana Mili or Sharmin Zoha Shoshee for playing the lead role of the serial. But I didn’t match schedule of Farhana Mili in this regard. For this reason, with the channel authority and my interest I took Shoshe for that role in the serial. Therefore, both Mili and Shoshee are outstanding in acting. I need that actress in which they are now in that position. In her character, Shoshee acted outstandingly well. Therefore, other actors of the serial, Amirul Haque Chowdhury and AKhM Hasan also acted well. As a director, I am satisfied with their performances. I hope after airing, viewers will enjoy the serial.”
According to Shoshee, acting in Suchonda directed movie ‘Hazar Bochhor Dhore’ in role of Tuni was her best achievement in acting career. Shoshee got late ATM Shamsuzzaman, Riaz, Anisur Rahman Milon, Shahnoor, among others as her co-actors in this movie. However, she also acted in Khijir Hayat Khan directed movie titled ‘Ostittey Aamar Desh.’ Shoshe got huge appreciation from the viewers for playing the role of Birjaya Mili Rahman in this movie. This movie is now available on YouTube channel of Laser Vision, said the actress.
