Mother of journalist Kazi Miraj dies

Momena Bagum, 84, mother of Barishal Press Club former general secretary and editor of local daily Ajker Paribarton Kazi Miraz Mahmud, died on old age complication at Rahat -Anwar Hospital of the city on Monday (November 7) noon.
She left two sons and two daughters and a lot of relatives and well wishers.
She was laid to rest at Barishal Muslim Gorosthan after Namaje Janaza on Major M A Jalil road on Monday night.
Various socio-cultural-political -professional organisations and leaders, personalities including local lawmaker, minister, BCC Mayor, Barishal Reporters Unity, Press Club visited the house of the demised lady expressed their condolence and thay had participated in janaja and burial programm.
