Two arrested with 24 bottles of Xcof

 Joydevpur Thana police arrested two drug dealers along with 24 bottles of banned Indian-made Xcof in Gazipur on Friday The arrested are Manik Mia (19) son of Babul Mia of Harinakuri village under Kamala Kanda police station of Netrakona district and Hadis Mia (24) son of Chan Mia of the same area. The estimated market value of recovered drugs is Tk 48 thousand. Police SI Khalekuzzaman said that on Friday night, based on secret information, he came to know that some drug dealers were buying and selling Phensedyl on School Road adjacent to Bagher Bazar in Gazipur Sadar Upazila. He went with his force conducted a raid at night and arrested two drug dealers. 24 bottles of phensidyl similiar indian made import banned xcof for sale purpose they have. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Joydevpur Police Station Mahatab Uddin said that a case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act against the arrested accused in the case of drug recovery. He was sent to jail by the court on Saturday.

Five drug dealers arrested

A special raid team of RAB-14, CPSC, TTC, Mymensingh camp under the leadership of Major Akher Muhammad Joy conducted an operation in Belalabad area under Nandail Police Station of Mymensingh and arrested Mahadev Debnath (22), Md Azad Mia (40) with 30 kgs ganja, along with a Mahindra truck on Saturdsay.Two Nokia Button mobile sets, Tk 1300 in cash were recovered.
Another reports adds: Three persons were arrested during the special anti-narcotics operation conducted separately by the 2nd Armed Police Battalion, Muktagachha, Mymensingh, based on secret information on Saturday. Arrrested Md. Asadullah (39) from Jaibangla Bazar area under Muktagachha Police Station of Mymensingh . Some 300 grams of ganja were recovered from Charshasa area under Kotwali Police Station of Mymensingh . Md Khalilur Rahman (36), and Md. Nurul Islam Sadhu (58) were also arrested with 100 grams of ganja from Ostdhar area under Kotwali Police Station of Mymensingh district. In the initial interrogation, the accused admitted that they have been involved in the sale and purchase of ganja for a long time. Regular cases have been filed against them in Mymensingh district’s Kotwali and Muktagachha police stations separately.
