SAU celebrated 16th anniversary

The 16th anniversary of Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) has been celebrated on Wednesday. on the occasion a colourful programme held in the university administrative premises with the hoisting of the national flag.
After that, SAU Vice-Chancellor (Additional Charge) Professor Dr Mohammad Mehdi Hasan Khan announced the official opening of the program by flying pigeons and balloons as symbols of peace.
Later, a joyous procession was taken out from the premises of the administrative building with the participation of teachers-students and officials-employees, which circled the Tilagarh point of the metropolis and ended at the student-teacher center premises of the university. Then the teachers and students cut the cake.
Apart from the Vice-Chancellor, SAU Registrar Md Badrul Islam Shoaib, Director of Student Counseling and Guidance Department Professor Dr Mostafa Samsuzzaman, Proctor (Acting) Dr Tariqul Islam, Additional Director of Student Counseling and Guidance Department Dr Mahfuz Rob, Deans of various faculties, teachers, Office head and Chhatra League leaders.
