SBIL gets top bosses

The Board of Directors Sonar Bangla Insurance Limited (SBIL) unanimously re-elected Sheikh Kabir Hossain and Shahida Alamin as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the company respectively. Directors and shareholders of the company took the decision in its 135th meeting held recently, said a press release.
Sheikh Kabir Hossain is the President of Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA), Chairman of the Board of Trusty of Fareast International University, Chairman of the Bangladesh Private University Association, Chairman of CDBL, Fareast Islami Life Insurance Company Limited & National Tea Company. Member of Governors of Open University Bangladesh, Regent Board Member of the University of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science & Technology Gopalgonj and Jashore University of Science & Technology, Jashore. He is also the Syndicate Member of Khulna Agriculture University. He is Vice-Chairman of Islamia Eye Hospital. Also he was the Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society & International Director of Lions Clubs International. He is the Managing Director of his own business organization M/s. Kabico Limited. He is the founder of many educational institutions and related with various Social Activities.
