Farmer training held at Shahzadpur

Shahzadpur ( Sirajganj) Correspondent :
A day-long farmers’ training was held under the Kandal Crop Development Project at Shahzadpur in Sirajganj on Thursday.
Some 30 farmers from 13 unions and municipalities of the upazila were trained by the Upazila Agriculture Extension Directorate at the Upazila Farmer Training Center.
 At that time, upazila Agriculture Officer agriculturist Mohammad Abdus Salam, agricultural extension officer agriculturist Md.Ehsanul Haque trained the farmers and agriculturalist Md. Nasib Ahmed Khan.
On this day, the farmers were trained on the production technology, importance and marketing of Kandal crops – Sweet potato, Latikchu, Pani kachu, Round potato, Tree potato, Mukhi kachu. Asha Jalalpur union farmers to take training.
