Slogging is not BD’s game: Siddons

Bangladesh batting coach Jamie Siddons rued over the batters poor shot selection and stated the Tigers lack the ability of ‘slogging’ after the 104-run defeat against South Africa.
Bangladesh was skittled out 101 runs while chasing a massive 206 runs set by South Africa, all thanks to swashbuckling batter Rilee Rossouw’s 109 runs.
“We aren’t big six-hitters, we need to be a lot smarter. We hit the ball in the air way too much. The message was, go out there and bat, see how we go, we had a great start then everyone just wanted to hit the ball in the air. And that put us all under pressure,” said Siddons.
