Hasan Maruf best UNO of Mymensingh Divn

Hasan Maruf, UNO of Gouripur upazila has been nominated for ‘National Primary Education Award-2022′ as the best UNO in Mymensingh division for his extraordinary contribution to education on 23 October 2022. After joining as an UNO in Gouripur upazila on 10 August 2020, he has known as an efficient, fearless and talented officer within a few months. On getting the nomination as the best UNO, Hasan Maruf said that he has highly delighted to be selected for National Primary Education Award-2022’ as the best UNO in Mymensingh division . This recognition will inspire me to do better work in future.”
As a 33rd batch officer of BCS (Administration) cadre, Hasan Maruf obtained his honours and master degree in International Relationships (IR) from Chattogram University. After joining the BCS (Administration) cadre, he worked as an officer in Sylhet Divisional Commissioner’s Office in 2014 and Hobiganj District Commissioner’s Office. He is the son of a freedom fighter named Jamal Hossain from Karnafuly Upazila of Chattogram.
