‘I want to be a servant of whole Chattogram’

The newly elected Chairman of the Zilla Parishad, ATM Payrul Islam, is expressing the expectation of wanting to be a servant of the whole of Chattogram and not of
a specific area as Zilla Parishad Chairman.
He expressed this expectation in a press conference organized at Bangabandhu Hall of Chattogram Press Club on Wednesday morning.
ATM Payrul said, “I will serve 91 lakh 63 thousand 760 people. The size of my service will be versatile, which has been presented before you in the 12 points announced by my election management committee. I will implement these 12 points letter by letter.”
He also said, “I got involved in the politics of the father of the nation with the vow of human service during my school days.”
“By the Allah’s grace, I will use the opportunity to serve people every moment for the welfare of people. Chattogram District Council will be developed into a planned development institution by creating a roadmap for development with all levels of public representatives and prominent citizens including Chattogram Minister, City Mayor, MP. Through which this district council will be a role model for development. By ensuring overall development through balanced distribution of each upazila, we will take appropriate measures to implement the honorable Prime Minister’s announcement ‘Villages will become Towns,” Payrul added.
