Never seen BNP leader Tarique Rahman directly: Mokbul

Md Mokbul Hossain, a day after he was sent on early retirement as the Information Secretary in “public interest, said that he never seen BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman physically and even don’t want to see him.
“I am the victim of injustice. I have never made any compromise with morality in my life and I am not even prepared for this situation. Even, I have never seen Tarique Rahman directly,” he said while talking to reporters at the Secretariat on Monday.
He knows nothing why he was sent to retirement. Government can take any decision against anyone and he accepted the government’s decision taken against him.
Information and Broadcasting Secretary who went on compulsory retirement on Sunday came to the Secretariat to collect his necessary documents left in his office. On hearing this news, reporters went to his room and asked him about the reasons for his retirement.
When his attention was drawn that various allegations brought against him, Mokbul Hossain said, “My entire family has been following the current government’s ideology since the beginning. I joined BCL politics from the age of nine. My elder brother has been holding post of Vice President of Awami League for 35 years. Why should I go to conspire against the government?”
