Int’l Rural Women’s Day celebrated in Tarash

International Rural Women’s Day 2022 was celebrated on Saturday in Tarash, Sirajganj. The International Rural Women’s Day celebration was organized by the Sirajganj district committee at Bangladesh Progati Sangstha (BPS) Tarash office with the theme of ‘climate change impact and women’s multidimensional risk, urgent action is needed now’ on Saturday morning, October 15.
International Rural Women’s Day 2022 was celebrated on October 15 under the chairmanship of Abu Bakkar Siddique, Vice President of Bangladesh Progati Sangstha (BPS)and Assistant Professor of Tarash University. was present at this time Baruhas UP Member Seema Khatun, Tarash Press Club Vice President Liton Ahmed, Upazila Press Club General Secretary Shahinur Rahman Shahin, Organizing Secretary Sohel Rana Sohag, Saidur Rahman, General Secretary of Tarash Reporters Unity, Executive Director of Bangladesh Progati Sangstha (BPS) Bir Muktijoddha Ghazi Md. Karim Baksha, Coordinator and Journalist Md. Mohsin Ali. Deputy Director Ashraful Alam Palash, Program Manager Nargis Khatun, Monitoring Officer Bablur Rahman and many others. The program honored 5 women for their contributions in various fields.
