Elderly woman killed in Gopalganj road accident

A elderly woman was killed in a road accident in Hoglakandi area under Kashiani upazila of the district on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Deloyara Begum, 70, resident of Khairan village in Muksudpur upazila of the district. The accident occurred when a speedy vehicle hit her in the area around 7.30am while she was crossing the road, leaving her dead on the spot, officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhanga Highway Police Station Taimur Rahman said. The body was handed over to her family members, the OC added. A case was filed in this connection.
