5 people arrested in connection with AL clash in Singra

Two cases have been registered in connection with the clash between two groups of League in Sukash Union of Singra Upazila on Sunday night.
Singra Thana police arrested 5 people on Monday night. The arrested are Rabiul (32) son of Afsar Ali, Hasan Thandu (35) son of Gaher Ali, Jewel (32) son of deceased Mohammad Ali, Habil (27) son of deceased Rais Uddin, Nazim Uddin son of deceased Mahir Uddin (32) of Bamihal Doshopara village of the upazila, Meanwhile, in case of Aftab Uddin’s murder, his son Wahab Ali filed a case in the police station against 20 people.
On the other hand, in the case of Ruhul Amin’s murder, his son Shahin filed a case against 42 people. Singra Police Station OC Mizanur Rahman said that the situation is in calm at present. The accused have been referred to the court.
