Brown monkey with baby rescued in Srimangal

A brown monkey with cub was recovered from Srimangal Upazila in Moulvibazar on Monday.
The Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation rescued the brown mother bear with her cub from a cloth shop in the Post Office Road of the city’s municipal area. Swapan Deb Sajal, Director of the Wildlife Service Foundation, said that Basu Dev Pal, the owner of Gandeshwari Textiles on Post Office Road, called and said that the monkey had entered his shop with a baby. Sajal Dev also said that the rescued monkey along with the baby will be taken in Lauachhara National Park with the help of the Forest Department as soon as possible.
