Example of ‘Monpura’ still being given as reference: Farhana Mili

Nowadays, while talking about commercially successful movies, viewers, producers, directors and actors are giving reference of Giasuddin Selim directed movie ‘Monpura.’ Many of them said, “Is another ‘Monpura’ will be made?” But somebody believes there will no other movie like ‘Monpura.’ After passing 13 years of release, lead heroine of ‘Monpura,’ Farhana Mili is still receiving praiseworthy remarks for acting in the movie. Film-lovers still recall the memory of character Pori, which was played by Farhana Mili, in ‘Monpura.’
Basically ‘Monpura’ has become an example for all related to the film industry.
In fact, most of the artistes dream to work like movie ‘Monpura’ at all. In fact, they want to survive among the minds of so many film-lovers by acting in this type of movie.
According to Mili, she was not confirmed at first to act in ‘Monpura.’ But later she acted in this movie and she has made a history in the film industry of the country by acting in this movie. Basically it is a great achievement for an actress. While talking in this regard, Farhana Mili told this correspondent, “In fact, for last 13 years, I had to face so many people to talk about acting ‘Monpura’ movie. I won the hearts of so many film-lovers playing the role Pori in this movie. I can really understand their loves to me. It is really an example for an actress to get an achievement by acting in a movie only. I got huge appreciations from the people for acting in this movie, which I never forget.”
Farhana Mili also said that recently she has finished shooting of A B Rokon directed drama titled Biye Banijjo.
