DIU gets ‘Best Film Award 2014’ in Stop Not Film Festival

Golpo Chalao, Film Banao, the campus-centric story-telling and filmmaking competition organised by ‘Stop Not,’ popular snack brand from the house of Perfetti Van Melle, in order to create a platform to encourage the creative and talented youngsters of the country to showcase their talent of story-telling and film-making, has created quite a stir amongst university students across the country. To further fuel the flames of attraction, ten have been shown at the Stop Not Film Festival.
National writer Anisul Hoque was part of the entire journey of this process to inspire, encourage and motivate the contestants. Moreover, renowned film director Saraf Ahmed Zibon was an integral part of the journey as well.
10 universities were selected for the Stop Not Golpo Chalao, Film Banao contest. Finally, on November 29 Phirey Asho Faria, a film written and made by students of Daffodil International University (DIU) has been awarded as ‘Best Film Award 2014,’ which has been selected through public voting on Facebook and SMS.
