Price of chicken and egg falls

Within a week, the price of chicken, egg and few vegetables has fallen.
After visiting a few kitchen markets in capital it was seen that the trades are selling per dozen eggs at Tk 120 whereas one week earlier it was Tk 125-Tk130.
Rampura kitchen market egg trader Md Sabur Ali said that the price of eggs increases a lot before and after Eid. Last week I sold a dozen eggs for Tk 130. Now it is Tk 120. Due to the increase in the supply of eggs in the market, the prices have come down.
He said, the price of eggs may decrease further in the future, because the demand for eggs has decreased slightly due to the heat.
Khilgaon businessman Litton said, the demand for eggs has decreased due to the heat, and while on the other hand, the supply of eggs in the market has increased. Everything is falling in price. Compared to last week, eggs have decreased by Tk10 per dozen.
The traders are selling chicken per kg at Tk 150 (Broiler) and Tk 260 to Tk 280 (Pakistani Cock) while one week earlier it was selling at Tk 155-160 and Tk 300-320 respectively.
About the chicken price Karwan Bazar businessman Hasan Ali said that many people still have Eid ul Azha meat in their homes. Because of this, the demand for chicken is somewhat low. On the other hand, after Eid, the supply of chicken in the market is low, but now it has increased. Due to this, the price has decreased slightly.
The vegetables market scenario is that few vegetables price have decreased. In this list they are carrot, cucumber, tomato, French.
Before Eid ul Azha carrot was selling at Tk 180-200, cucumber at Tk 90-100, tomato at Tk 140-160 and now they are selling at Tk 130-140, Tk 40-50 and Tk 80-100 respectively.
In the vegetables market, the brinjal are being sold at Tk 50-60, cucarbitaceous at Tk 50-70, green papaya at Tk 30-40, parble at Tk 20-30, ladies figure at Tk 40-50.
Few vegetables price has remained stable. They are spone gourd and snake gourd.
Besides, a Hilsha weighing one and a half kilogram is being sold at Tk 1,000-1200 per kg while smaller size at Tk 500-600 only, while shrimp at Tk 600-650 only. The cat fish was selling at Tk 400 to 450 at Baganbari, South Goran on Friday, taki mach at Tk 350, Papda at Tk 400 and boal machh at Tk 600 only.
