Sandhani National Eye Society

A discussion marking the 30th founding anniversary of Sandhani National Eye Society was held on Monday at Sandhani Eye Hospital in Nilkhet in the city. Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim was present as the chief guest. While speaking Nasim said the government will upgrade the National Eye Donation Day to A grade from existing C Grade to encourage more people to donate their eyes posthumously. The minister hoped that Sandhani will be succeeded in eye donation programme as like their success in blood donation. The function was addressed, among others, by Prime Ministers’ Media Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr Dipu Moni, MP, Habib-e Millat, MP, and BMA Secretary General Dr Iqbal Arsenal with Sandhani National Eye Society Professor Dr M Ali Asgar Morol in the chair.
