1st day of pry exam passes off peacefully

The first day of the Terminal Examinations 2014 of primary and Ebtedae students in Chittagong division ended peacefully on Sunday .
Directorate of Primary Education (DPE), Chittagong sources said the first day of the examination was held in a peaceful manner.
Some 29,866 students out of total 579762 were absent today in English examination at different centres of eleven districts of the division.
Sufficient vigilance teams consisting of officials from DPE were deputed in 1468 centres of the division to check any sort of unfair means or irregularities.
DPE officials visited city’s different centres.
