Ebadot nominated ICC Player of the Month

Right-arm pacer Ebadot Hossain from Bangladesh has been nominated the ICC Player of the Month (January). ICC is the governing body of world cricket. The other cricketers, who have been nominated the ICC Players of the Month, are : Keegan Petersen from South Africa and Dewald Brevis, who played for South Africa Under-19 Cricket team in the recently concluded ICC Under-19 World Cup.
Ebadot Hossain played two Test matches against New Zealand in January in New Zealand. He captured altogether nine wickets in two Test matches with an average of 29.33. Ebadot bagged six wickets for 46 runs against New Zealand in the first Test against the Kiwis which helped Bangladesh to beat New Zealand by eight wickets. Ebadot was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Keegan Petersen from South Africa played the key role for Proteas to beat India 2-1 in the three-match Test series. Petersen scored 244 runs with an average of 61.
Dewald Brevis performed really well for South Africa Under-19 Cricket team in the recently concluded ICC Under-19 World Cup.
He scored 506 runs with an average of 84.33. He captured seven wickets in the gala meet for the young cricketers. Brevis hit two centuries and struck three half-centuries.
Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and Nasum Ahmed from Bangladesh have been nominated the ICC Players of the Month.
