Abul Hayat turns 78 today

playwright and director Abul Hayat’s birthday is today. He will turn 78. During corona pandemic, Abul Hayat has no special plan to celebrate the day. He said, “Bipasha and her family are outside the country now. Only Natasha is here. Natasha’s daughter’s birthday is also today. We may celebrate the day at home. Everybody prays for me as I can remain well during post-Covid situation. I have already taken two doses
of corona vaccine.”
In last Eid, Abul Hayat acted in Rubel Hasan’s drama Nana Bari. He also made a drama titled Megh Moyurir Golpo. Abul Hayat informed that from September 10, he will take part in shooting of a drama against Dilara Zaman under direction of Shimanto Sajal. “I want to take classes on drama in any institution now. I want to share my long time experiences in this field to all,” the actor said.
When Abul Hayat was a student of Class-V, he first acted in a play titled Tipu Sultan on the stage. With Nagorik Natya Sampradaya, Abul Hayat first acted in a theatre play titled Buro Shaliker Ghare Ro directed by Ataur Rahman.
Zia Haider produced Oedipus was his acted first TV drama. Agontuk was Abul Hayat directed his first drama on the stage and Harjit was his directed first television drama. Titas Ekti Nodir Naam was his acted first movie.
