Sharmeen Akhee passes one decade of her acting career silently

Sharmeen Akhee is the viewers’ choice popular actress who came from theatre arena. In the country, it is commonly seen that the actors
who came from theatre they always get honour from their colleagues because they have
developed their skills in acting through working on the stage. Same thing also happened in
case of Sharmeen Akhee who learned acting
from theatre dramas.
Hailed from Chattogram, Sharmeen Akhee started her acting career through theatre group Arindam Natya Sampraday. She basically came into limelight to play the role Boson in Tarasankar Bandyopadhyay’s drama Kobi, which was regular production of the theatre group. Later, in the small screen, Akhee came into limelight to act in Shihab Shahin’s drama Anamika and Eamin Elan’s drama Aj Babar Biye. But in 2010, she first acted under Nargis Akhtar’s direction in drama Bhalobasa Ki Kore Bhalo Hoi. Then Sharmeen Akhee got appreciation to act in serials Ghotok Baki Bhai, directed by Debashish Barua; Char Konnya, Aporajita, based on Ashapurna Devi’s novel Baluchari, Rabindranath Tagore’s Moddhyobortini, Roudro Chhayar Khela, directed by Gias Uddin Selim; Gram-er Nam Subornopur, directed by Bashar Georgis, My Name Is Bad, directed by Salauddin Lavlu.
Sharmeen Akhee-starrer her first movie was Iti Tomar-e Dhaka, jointly directed by 11 directors. She also acted in Arijit Mukherji’s short film Shadow. Therefore, she also acted in Ariq Anam Khan’s Transit, Noman Robin’s A Quarter
Mile Country and Afzal Hossain Munna’s Revolution. She also acted in Imtiaz Sajib’s
feature film Just A Joke Darling and an
anthology film directed by Rashed Raha.
Sharmeen Akhee acted in several numbers of good projects. She has already passed one decade of her acting career silently.
While talking in this regard Sharmeen Akhee said, “While analysing characters in the rehearsal room for theatre play I first started to love
acting. Then I became regular in acting.
I really couldn’t understand how I passed one decade of my acting career. I am regular in acting and in future I will continue it. I believe
I want to present some good projects for the viewers in the long run. In fact, I never run
to get fame. Viewers’ loves are my achievement. I have respect to them who gave me chances to work in their projects at all.”
