Circular issued extending lockdown till May 5

The Cabinet Division has issued a circular extending the current lockdown till midnight on May 5 (Wednesday).
The circular was issued on Wednesday.
Shops and shopping malls will be open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Besides, public-private offices and public transport will be closed as usual except for the emergency services. Factories will remain open.
Although the limited lockdown from 5 to 11 April to combat the second wave of coronavirus, was not very effective. A week-long strict lockdown was started on April 14.
In a meeting on April 18, the ongoing lockdown was extended to April 28. Now, this lockdown was extended for another week until May 5.
