Both DSE, CSE index end week in red

Key share price index at the country’s twin bourses-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — ends week in negative on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX lost 29.27 points or 0.55 percent to reach 5285.83 at the close of trading on the day. Of the 303 issues traded, 88 gained, 187 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 814.41 crore changed hands at the DSE on Thursday.
The day’s top 10 losers at the DSE were Fu Wang Foods, BIFC, Progressive Life Insurance,Purabi General Insurance, Reliance Insurance, Islamic Finance, Grameen 1, Al-Hajtex, Sino Bangla, and Islami Insurance.
