CU researchers received reception

Four researchers from Chittagong University (CU) were given a reception to unveil the genome sequencing of the corona virus in 11 districts of Chattogram division. The reception was held at 11:30 am yesterday in the conference room of the university’s vice-chancellor’s office.
The four researchers are Associate Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and CU Proctor Rabiul Hasan Bhuiyan, Associate Professor of Botany Mohammad Omar Farooq Russell and Assistant Professor of Microbiology Imranul Haque and Dr. HM Abdullah Al Masood.
At the reception program, CU Vice-Chancellor Pro.Dr. Shireen Akhter said that Chittagong University is an open pasture for knowledge and research. Chittagong University is moving forward at an indomitable pace in this pasture. To continue this trend and turn this university into the top university in the country, all the members of the university family have to play a more sincere role.
Acting Registrar of the University Prof. SM Monirul Hasan spoke at the program where Senate member Pro. Dr. Md. Danesh Mia, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Rashed Mostafa, Dean of the Faculty of Biology Mohammad Kamrul Hossain, Suhrawardy Hall Provost Professor Mainul Hasan Chowdhury also present among others.
