Another held over Keraniganj four-murder

UNB, Sirajganj :
Police arrested another person in connection with the Keraniganj four-murder case from Ullahpara upazila of the district early Tuesday.
The arrestee was identified as Nasiruddin, 30, son of Mahmud Hossain of Shahjadpur upazila.
Tipped off that Nasir was hiding in his relative’s house at Pankharua village in the upazila, a police team raided the house and arrested him around 5:30am, said Tajul Islam, officer-in-charge of Ullahpara Model Police Station.
Earlier, police arrested two prime suspects-Sumon, Jonny-and five
others in Keraniganj 4 murders from Munshiganj and Gazipur districts on September 26. The other arrestees are Rani, Mukta, Shahida, Rafique and Mazid.
Four members of a family-Saju Ahmed, 35, his wife Ranju Begum, son Imran, 6, and daughter Sanjida, 2, of Kharija Banji village in Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district-were found dead at their residence in South Keraniganj on the outskirts of Dhaka city on September 24.
