Gonoshasthaya neuroscience’s operation bring back a child’s normal intelligence

Muhammad Suman, a 13 years old boy lost his normal intelligence since his birth due to Cerebral Palsy disease.
He failed to talk normally, saliva drips from the face all times and he also suffering from other many complexities for the disease.
Finally, he get rid of the curse after a successful operation from Gonoshasthaya neuroscience unit of the Gonoshasthaya Kendra on November 1.
The hospital inaugurated the full-fledged neuroscience unit at its Nagar Hospital in the capital’s Dhanmondi area one day before the successful operation.
Eminent Neurosurgeon Faridul Islam Chowdhury conducted the operation.
Sumon’s father Sumar Ali, from Shakhipur of Tangail said that his son got back normal intelligence from the second day after the operation.
The boy is now showing normal working capability which is really amazing to his parents and others.
Physician Faridul Islam Chowdhury said that neurological disease rate high but its treatment facilities inadequate in Bangladesh for the lack of skilled manpower in the sector.
