Kaderi to play role of Capt Mansur Ali

In his acting career, Khalilur Rahman Kaderi got the opportunity to work in role of Captain Muhammad Mansur Ali in Shyam Benegal’s biopic on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Shooting of the biopic was scheduled to start in March. Due to corona pandemic, it remains stalled now. But Kaderi is excited to play the role of Captain M Mansur Ali. He is taking necessary preparation to portray the role on the screen. He is very much eager to stand in front of the camera in the role now.
Actor Kaderi said, “It is really a great achievement in my four decades of acting career to play the role of Captain M Mansur Ali in the biopic of Bangabandhu. I am grateful to them who have selected me for the role. Now I am very much eager to work in that role because I want to see myself in that role on the screen.”
Meanwhile, Kaderi also informed that on the occasion of Kazi Nazrul Islam’s death anniversary, special drama Allarakha will be aired on Channel i today where Kaderi acted in a special role. He informed that he has already finished shooting of Puja’s special drama Mr & Mrs Jontrona. He has started shooting of new drama serial Natai Ghuri. From next month he will start shooting of two other serials.
