Pacer Rubel Hossain joins individual training programme

Pacer Rubel Hossain joined the individual training programme at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Saturday.
Rubel last played for Bangladesh wearing white jersey against Pakistan in a Test match in February. He captured three wickets conceding 113 runs after bowling more than 25 overs but still had to stay out of the team for the Zimbabwe series at home.
Rubel is the last amongst the fast bowlers to join the individual training sessions while his competitors like Ebadot Hossain, Abu Jayed Rahi, Shafiul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman, Al-Amin Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Khaled Ahmed had already started their practice sessions.
However, the consistent rain marred his first day at the training session. He was unable to bowl due to rain and did only some fitness session along with Taskin Ahmed and other bowlers.
Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, Momihul Haque, Imrual Kayes, Soumya Sarkar, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mohammad Mithun, Sadman Islam, Afif Hossain did their batting at the indoor.
