Shawkat champion in: Annual Sports Compt of Shaheed Sergeant Zahurul Haque Hall of DU

Shawkat Islam, a student of Women and Gender Studies Department emerged the champion in the Annual Sports Competition of the Shaheed Sergeant Zahurul Haque of Dhaka University (DU) while Oli Ahmed, a student of Psychology finished runner-up in the sports meet on Wednesday.
The sports competition was taken place at the Central Play Ground of DU yesterday.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of Dhaka University Professor Dr Sahid Akhter Hussain opened the sports competition as the chief guest.
After the sports meet Treasurer of DU Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin distributed the prizes among the winners. Provost of Shaheed Sergeant Zahurul Haque Hall Professor Dr Abu Md Delwar Hossain, residential teachers of the Hall and the officials of Physical Education Centre of DU were present at the prize-giving ceremony.
