Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mithun, Shafiul Islam take part in training in NCA Ground

Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mithun and Shafiul Islam took part in the individual training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Ground in Mirpur, which is adjacent to the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
It was known that Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad and Mominul Haque would not come to the NCA Ground on Sunday. They took part in the physical training at home.
Imrul Kayes will come to the NCA Ground on Monday.
Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Mithun arrived at the NCA Ground on 9.00 AM. Mushfiqur Rahim, the wicketkeeper-batsman did running and stretching for half an hour at the NCA Ground. Then Mushfiqur Rahim went to indoor and participated in batting practice. Mohammad Mithun straightly went to indoor and took part in the batting practice.
Pacer Shafiul Islam came at the NCA Ground at 11.00 AM. He finished his training for the first day there.
The three cricketers took part in the training maintaining social distance and they took part in lone practice session.
The Cricket Operations Committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) initially gave permission to the cricketers to take part in the physical training and participate in gymnasium-work. But later, BCB gave permission to the cricketers to take part in the batting practice and running and stretching at the NCA Ground.
Media Manager of BCB Rabeed Imam said to the newsmen on Sunday, ” Usually cricketer, coach and trainer talk to the journalist mid of the practice session or after the practice. But this time they didn’t talk to the journalists due to coronavirus outbreak.
However, BCB displayed a video clip of Mohammad Mithun at 12.30 PM on the same day. Mithun said, ” After four months we have got chance to practice at the ground in the open sky. We had practiced at the close place before took part on Sunday’s practice session. It seemed tough to us to run, stretch and bat in the open sky after a long day recession. I hope that everything will be smooth soon for us to take part in the training session.”
Meanwhile, pacer Khaled Ahmed and spinner Nasum Ahmed took part in their respective practice at Sylhet International Stadium on the same day.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan and spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz participated in their individual training at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on the same day.
