After Big B and Abhishek, Aishwarya & daughter test positive for Coronavirus
Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Sunday confirmed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya have tested Coronavirus-positive, a day after father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and husband Abhishek Bachchan were admitted to Nanavati Hospital.
In a now-deleted tweet, Tope also said that the Big B’s actor-turned-politician-wife Jaya Bachchan tested
negative. It was not clear whether the mother-daughter duo were quarantined at home or were also hospitalised, as Amitabh and Abhishek were on Saturday, when they said they had mild symptoms.
Earlier on Sunday, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar had said Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya had tested negative for coronavirus after the father son duo confirmed their COVID-19 test reports. -Agency
