Cricketer Nazmul Islam Apu contracts coronavirus

Bangladesh national cricketer Nazmul Islam Apu has been infected with the novel coronavirus, a couple of hours after the former skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and ex-cricketer Nafees Iqbal caught the deadly virus.
“I had gone to Narsingdi last week for relief distribution and after coming from there I felt sick. I gave sample on Wednesday for coronavirus test and the results came positive this afternoon,” Apu said.
The left-handed batsman and left-arm orthodox spin bowler also said he is now in isolation at home.
Earlier on Saturday, personal assistant of Narail-2 MP and former Bangladesh Cricket Team captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza told media that the cricketer-turned-politician tested positive for Covid-19.
Hours before the disclosure of Mashrafe’s infections, former cricketer and ODI captain Tamim Iqbal’s elder brother Nafees Iqbal himself informed massmedia that he has coronavirus.
