I salute the doctors, nurses and health service people and law-enforcing agents who are risking their lives to save people from this frightening disease. Many of them have already died in their endeavour, but it did not deter them from their duty.
I also laud the members of news media who took risk to serve the nation and became victims to the pandemic.
Many organisations also came forward to look after hungry and needy people, a noble gesture indeed. And I learned about some foundations who took the responsibility to perform the burial- rituals of the deceased where relatives are afraid to come near, what a sad situation.
We do not know when the ferocity of the disease will subside. We can only pray to the Al-mighty Allah to save mankind from this fearful state.
