A torch bearer to impoverished people

Like other countries in the world, the whole of Bangladesh is in shutdown due to the epidemic of corona virus. The number of affected patients and deaths is increasing by leaps and bounds. Stagnation has come down all over the country. As a precautionary measure, people are staying at home. As a result, the low-income people are suffering most. These people are not conscious about health risks, but for three meals a day that has become impossible for them to arrange. In this situation, the voluntary organization ‘Amader Alokito Somaj’ has come forward as a touch bearer to these helpless people.
For the past five years, the organization has been working with a group of enterprising volunteers to spread various social, cultural and educational activities. In the ongoing Corona crisis, low-income people passing time with great crisis. The organization is providing its best efforts with limited capabilities. Under the initiative of the organization, daily necessities and several thousand iftar packages have been distributed among the needy families in Dhaka, Gazipur, Chittagong, Cumilla, Satkhira, Rangpur and Nangalkot. The organization will continue this activity until the end of Ramadan and the Corona crisis.
Chairman of the organization said, from the beginning of their journey the organization has been working with various professionals and volunteers to serve the humanity. In the ongoing crisis, in addition to providing regular relief-aid, hello services for middle-class families, daily iftar programs, emergency medical services, public awareness and door-to-door gift activities in the efforts of our enlightened society. In the future, we want to spread the light of enlightened society all over Bangladesh.
