Muslim nations’ envoys to Dhaka donate 6 tonnes of food aid

Muslim nations’ envoys to Dhaka have provided six tonnes of food aid for poverty strained people hit hard during the coronavirus outbreak in Bangladesh.
The envoys handed over the food aid to Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Abu Saleh Mohammad Ferdous Khan at state guesthouse Padma on Saturday.
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen was present on the occasion. The Palestinian Ambassador Yousuf SY Ramadan, Saudi Ambassador Essa Yusef Essa Alduhailan, Egyptian Ambassador Walid Ahmed Shamseldin and Indonesian Ambassador Rina Prihtyasmiarsi Soemarno were also present.
The Foreign Minister thanked the envoys for their great effort like food donation to the poverty stricken people.
The envoyes pledged to continue providing such aid to the poorer people of Bangladesh.
Palestinian Ambassador Yousuf SY Ramadan said, “We will continue to stand by the distressed.”
