Gorib Sanjoy dedicates song to Bangabandhu

Popular singer of rural areas of the country Gorib Sanjoy has dedicated a song to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of his birth centenary. Title of the song is Bangabandhur Shotoborsho.
Lalon Lohani wrote lyrics of the song while Nazir Mahmud has composed its tune and Mushfiq Litu has arranged music. The song was released on YouTube channel of the singer, Gorib Sanjoy on March 14.
While talking about the song Gorib Sanjoy said, “I am really lucky because I have released a song which is dedicated to Bangabandhu on the occasion of his birth centenary. I believe music-lovers will listen the song.”
Gorib Sanjoy was born in Cumilla. But now he is residing at Madhobdi in Narsingdi. He received training in music from Cumilla’s Haripada Chowdhury. Later he also got training from Ustad Niaz Mohammad for three years and from 2001 to 2017 from late Bari Siddiqui.
Gorib Sanjoy’s debut solo album was Pore Thakbe Porer Bari Porer Brindabon which was released from Sangeeta.
