AFC postpones Qatar-2020 Qualifiers and Asia Cup China-2023 Qualifiers

Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has postponed the football matches of Qatar-2020 Qualifiers and Asia Cup Chine-2023 Qualifiers due to coronavirus. AFC took the decision on Monday and the matches will not be held until June. So, the matches of Bangladesh have been postponed. Bangladesh were scheduled to play against Afghanistan on March 26 at Sylhet, against Qatar on March 31 at Doha in Qatar, against India on June 4 in Dhaka and against Oman on June 9 in Dhaka. Meanwhile, FIFA and AFC will consider if two countries want to play each other after mutual understanding. However, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) also postponed the matches. General Secretary of BFF Md Abu Nayeem Shohag said to the newsmen, ” AFC has postponed the Qualifiers due to coronavirus. We are agreed with AFC. AFC will disclosed the revised schedule of the matches later.”
