BBPL gambling in Kurigram 98 held Tk 28000, 21 mobile sets, 7 Tvs seized

Law enforcers arrested at least 98 persons on charge of gambling over the ongoing BBPL cricket match from different parts of Kurigram district on Thursday night and Saturday.
During the drives, police also seized 21 mobile sets, seven television sets and Tk 28,000 in cash from the spots.
Menhazul Alam, Additional Police Super of the district, confirming the news told the media that members of three police stations and Detective Branches raided three separate drives in Kurigram Sadar, Nageshoree and Ulipur upazilas and arrested all of them from gambling spots.
