Film actor Kala Aziz passes away

Multitalented and viewers’ choice film actor Kala Aziz died at his residence in the capital’s Kawla area at 10:00pm on Saturday. He was 65. He left behind two sons. His wife Dilara Aziz died three years ago.
Kala Aziz was born in Bhatiyari in Sirajganj in 1954. He studied there. He appeared in the SSC examinations in 1972. In 1984, he started his acting career through Kazi Hayat’s movie Mona Pagla. Later he acted in 300 movies including Danga, Chapabaj, Deshodrohi, Teji, Jhor, Dhawa, Giringibaj, Aammajan, etc. For acting in Kazi Hayat’s film Itihas, he got BACHSHAS award.
Aziz’s namaj-e-janaza was held yesterday at 9:00am at Kawla and he was buried behind a mazar inside the Asian City at 11:00am.
Kala Aziz last acted with Shakib Khan in a film under Shahin Sumon’s direction. He worked BFDC lab for many years.
