Asaduzzaman Noor captivates audience with poetry

The veteran cultural personality renowned actor, politician, activist and current MP Asaduzzaman Noor brought to this session on the first day of the Dhaka Lit Fest (DLF) 2019 took place at AKASB Auditorium on the Bangla Academy premises on Thursday.
The session Memorable Moments: My Life in Theatre, moderated by Samina Luthfa. The veteran cultural personality kept the audience engaged throughout the session with his charms and answered questions on many important issues, making his session one of the significant and informative sessions of DLF as well.
He also compared the current situation of the theatre of Bangladesh with other countries, trying to find a resolution on how to make it a well-paid art form for actors.
The charismatic actor and speaker also shared his memories and thoughts with the audience. The audience members, consisting of people of different ages and backgrounds, kept greeting Asaduzzaman Noor with rounds of applause all through the session.
Reflecting on his acting career and life in theatre he said: “Theatre is very important to me, and to some extent, my thoughts are reflected in my acting especially in theatre.
“I build my characters and portray them on stage carefully. I carefully take each and every step on stage, he said while talking about his acting method.
“In order to build any character, I learn from my surroundings and experiences. I also learn from human gestures.
“I sometimes take help from books, and films as well.
