Youth hacked to death for not marrying Rohingya girl

A Rohingya youth was killed in a knife attack allegedly by another Rohingya at Kutupalong Refugee Camp in Ukhiya upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Sunday night .
Deceased Rahim Ullah was the son of one Abdus Salam, a resident of the camp, reports our Cox’s Bazar Distrcict Correspondent.
Quoting local people, Ukhiya Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Mansur said, “Shahidullah a fellow camp resident alongwith some other youths stabbed Rahim infront of a school as he refused to marry Shahidulla’s sister.”
Local refugees rushed Rahim to a private hospital in the camp. Later, he has been referred for better treatment and died on the way to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital around 10:30pm.
Police drive is on to arrest the killer, the OC said.
